More Christmas Time!!

I was trying to get the boys to take a picture by Gaile's Tree.....but could not for the life of me....so I took a picture in hopes that it would work....of course it did not. It was worth a shot though.

This is what our tree looked like after Santa came to visit us. The boys must have made Santa happy this year because they sure made out like bandits. These boys got so spoiled this year that I can't even see the floor to the playroom anymore. I don't clean it that often anymore because I spend an hour cleaning and oranizing the toys and they spend 2 minutes trashing it again.
We of course had to buy the spiderman wrapping paper, as well as batman, and spongebob. They sure did have fun. Although Jaxon didn't care to much about opening the presents...he just wanted to play with it after Roman opened it. Roman didn't care since he got to open more presents. Roman got Kung Fu Panda for Christmas. Jon had taken him to see that movie when it was in the theatre and ever since he has called it Pune Packda. I asked him the other night if he was going to watch it for the rest of his life....It's the movie he picks to watch every day....he never gets sick of it.

Roman got a big Black and Decker tool set. He calls him self bob the builder. He of course builds everything. Who needs to buy a house when you can hire a 3 year old contractor that can do everything with his high quaility plastic toolset.

Daddy was helping Jaxon open his presents too, since he didn't feel much like opening them. But like I said Roman was all for helping him to see what Santa brought Jaxon.

At least he opened a couple presents.....My kids are the cutest and bestest(i know i know i'm around them too much.)
Roman opening of course the new dart gun of the year. He always gets some kind of cool beep beep is what he calls them. He loves beep beeps.

I got some gift cards to go shopping which was so fun.....The day after christmas, Jon had the day off, so I said see ya later, don't know when I'll be home. Have fun with the kids. Of course he didn't have to much work to do since they got so many toys. I also got some new Christmas decorations, which is a tradition of my moms to get. I'm really starting to get quite the collection of decorations which I absolutely love. I got jon Gift cards to a golfing store and finsih line that way he could get what he wanted. He is the hardest person to shop for, so I don't really try to surprise him that much. All in all christmas was a blast. I've started a new tradition to have a big Christmas Dinner at our house on Christmas night with all of our family. We did a soup and bread night and it was fun. We had 3 different soups and spent time with the fam. I hope everyone had great holidays and Happy New Year!

Christmas Time

We went to Silver Dollar City to see the lights and it sure was beautiful. I seem to not be able to go anywhere without having to bring cheese. My child(Jaxon) loves cheese. It seems to make everything all better for him. That is what is in the stroller.
Jaxon had to be with dad most of the time, because now that he is a big boy he has to be walking everywhere. But I did not want him to be trampled so he stayed on daddy's shoulders.
Once Roman saw Jaxon on his dad's shoulder's he had to be on someones shoulders as well. So Uncle Stevie took the job being such a good uncle.....even though Roman is at least 45 lbs. But uncle Stevie doesn't care. He loves his nephews.

We took a couple family pictures which was fun. It is a rare occasion that all four of us are together spending time together as a family not at the house so it was good to get some pictures all together.

It is also a rare occasion for Jon and I to take pictures together. I have been trying to make a better habit of us taking pics together. I really love this pic of us. It turned out well. Thanks Steve for taking such a good picture.

Jon had to take some pics as well.......so photogenic I am right????

Renee was working that day and wearing a great elf's costume but Jon didn't get it in the picture.....oh well. Renee had a bad night that night. On her way home back to Joplin that night from work....which is Silver Dollar City for those of you who don't know.....She was turning off an exit and saw a deer. She slowed down and it started turning away.....well when she got closer the deer decided to ram into the left side of her car and gave it quite the nice dent. Well luckily she got it fixed and she was okay........hope she doesn't have anymore run-ins with deer anytime soon.

Jon being his goofy self.......I sure do love my husband.

Steven and Nikki taking a picture in front of the big Christmas tree........too many lights made the tree fuzzy but they still looked really good.
Jaxon was very tired at the end of the day and was hanging out of the stroller....we had to move out of the way of poles so he wouldn't hit his head. All in all it was a great fun day.

Just some Pictures

We found this random wig in the garage....we think it may be Jon's moms. Anyways the boys were furious when we put it on them and made them wear it for a picture....as you can tell they cried.

My husband thinking he is hot stuff.......weirdo.

My Aunt's Funeral

My sweet and precious Aunt Jennifer passed away November 5th. She was a wonderful woman with 4 precious children and a husband that she left behind. She had been very sick for 5 years with a very rare disease called Scleroderma. It slowly makes your body deteriorate. She was in pain almost the whole time. She finally lost her battle in Chicago, Illinois, where she had just undergone a stem cell transplant. The transplant was successful, but she got very sick and just didn't make it.

Jennifer was a very happy person who passed her happiness onto everyone else. She always had a compliment for anyone who walked her way and even when she was at her worse she would still ask how your family was doing. This wonderful woman is truly missed, and will be missed until we get to see her again. She meant a lot to everyone and her family really misses her.
I will never forget all the times we went to see her, and how much her and I had in common. We both had a love for clothes and shopping. Sometimes my mom wondered if I should have been her child. Whenever we would go to Arizona to visit, she would always make me pull out all of my shoes and clothes and show them to her. Of course I never argued because we had so much fun. Even when she was sick and in horrible pain, she was still so much fun to be around. She accomplished all of her goals when it came to her children. She wanted so much to be a great mom, and she excelled in that. She was a great wife, mother, sister, dauther and aunt. It's hard to think that there will be many years now in between when we all get to see her again.
What matters the most is that she is out of pain and is not suffering anymore. She is finally able to have use of her hands again and not be in pain. That makes all of us feel better to know she is not suffering. My Grammy who was in Arizona a lot these past 5 years, practically living there, was glad to not have to watch her daughter suffer anymore. She is very sad that she is gone, but I couldn't imagine watching my child in that much pain for so long. I think we've all come to terms that she is feeling better. We are so grateful for all the prayers that have been said for this family in the last 5 years. Jennifer, you will truly be missed. We love you!!

Naughty Boys

So last night I let the boys watch a movie when they went to bed. About 45 minutes into the movie I heard naughtiness going on. I decide to get up and check on them. When I went in their, Roman and Jaxon both had a book, which Roman had obviously given the book to Jaxon. Well my boys like to rip up books for some reason. Roman got over it and as soon as he did Jaxon learned how. Well they were both ripping up books. Needless to say, they got into big trouble. There movie got turned off, and were to go to sleep. Well a few minutes later, I hear something in the living room. Roman has taken it upon himself, to go into the living room and watch TV out there. So more trouble came his way. He was immediately sent back to his room and told he wouldn't get to watch his morning cartoons if he came out of his bedroom again. They both then fell asleep. I can't tell you how much I love my boys and how much fun they are, but they sure are naughty.

Route 66 Carosuel Park

Every year Palmer(Jon's Stepdad) had a work party at this carosuel park. It is so much fun for the kids and the adults. The kids get to pick toys out of a haystack and take them home. That is of course the favorite part. And all the rides. Roman rode every ride except for the ones he wasn't aloud to go on.
Jaxon riding the Batmobile
Roman Rockclimbing

Identical Twins

Oh my heart just falls into pieces for these boys....they are my boys.

Roman and Daddy

Jaxon driving the tractor

Roman and papa riding in the bird

Jaxon liked that tractor

Danny and Jaxon and Roman and papa swinging

Romey on the slide

Peek a boo

what can I do to bring this tractor home??

riding a horse

Jaxon did not like the horse ride. All in all we had a blast that night and it was fun for the boys to be able to spend some time with dad.

The Season of Sick Kids

So last Wednesday night....Jaxon started to get a cold. He was actually fine with it other than the nast coughing. Well this Tuesday night he pulled an all nighter, and Jon and I both knew that even with the tubes he had to have an ear infection because he was up all night screaming. I called the doctor first thing in the morning and made the appointment. When we got their they looked at everything else and it was fine. We got to his right ear and immediately she said "oh yeah, there is definately an infection in this ear. So.....she writes out a prescription for us and we head to the medicine shoppe. When I get there they tell me that it is going to be 65 dollars. I was like there is no way the generic brand is 65. They tell me that what it is, is that we have to pay a 50 dollar deductible for the new insurance. Well we already have over 1400 dollars in bills for Jaxon's kidney visit and shots. I was like there is no way i'm going to pay another 65 for a prescription. So I called the doctor and told them the situation, and so she called in one of those 4 dollar prescriptions from walmart. Needless to say i'll be not going to Medicine Shoppe anymore and staying with walmart. My birth control was even almost 20 dollars cheaper.

Then that night Roman decides that he needs to get sick as well. He came into our bedroom at about 11, and I just knew something was wrong. I figured that it wouldn't be long before he was throwing up. He has a certain look about him when he is going to throw up. Needless to say 10 minutes later he was throwing up. The next morning I put him on the couch and put cartoons on for him. He then threw up on me. FUN FUN FUN. So, not only was he moaning every 2 minutes and running a high fever, but Jaxon was having constant diarrhea. I went threw 20 diapers with him yesterday and about 15 the day before. So I had one throwing up and one coming out the other end. Luckily now they are both feeling better and I'm not going threw 3 days worth of diapers today.
