It's Been a While!

Well it's been a long while since I've posted anything. It's been really busy over here the past couple of weeks. Jon recently had some issues with the management over at Nissan and decided to move over to Toyota to sell cars. He loves it a lot more over there, and hopefully his stress will be reduced. The management seems to know a lot more about doing a good job than the last managers.

The boys of course are as naughty as ever. Jaxon is looking at me like mom you should have fed the spaghetti to me instead of letting me feed my self. What were you thinking? At least his hair was used as a napkin. The bathtub looked like spaghetti after he was finished with it.

Roman was testing out his new batman pj's with a cape on them to see if he could fly. I'm pretty sure he of course thought that he could run faster like when little kids get new shoes, they always think that they can run faster.

Very photogenic...... I had just cut some of my work out pants into capris, and Roman of course used it as a hat.

It seems that I can't think of anything to say even though its been two weeks.....momnesia....I just don't remember much.

Another Adventure at Silver Dollar City

SILVER DOLLAR CITY!!!!!

This was Jaxon's First time going on a ride since being in my belly. He got to ride the happy frogs.....and as you can see in the picture below he wasn't to happy about it. I rode this ride with Roman when I was about 6 months pregnant. I didn't have very much room to fit in it, but it sure was fun. Crying baby....
Roman on the other hand absolutely loved the happy frogs, he even rode a roller coaster. He absolutely loves Silver Dollar City. We call it the big park. He is always wanting to go to the big park.

My dad was able to come with us which was real fun, because he couldn't come the last time we went. He went on some rides with Roman as well. Roman is wearing his cool Superman Sunglasses.
We were walking in a shop to get cooled off when we found these hats. So we all tried them on and I think we looked spectacular. It was so much fun.

We all took this picture together. Jaxon couldn't be in the picture because he was so tired from the whole day. And we were barely even starting. We were able to meet up with some friends also and hang out with them and their 2 boys.

My dad found these big glasses which of course every one had to try on.....although I never did since I was taking all the pictures. Roman of course put the upside down as he does a lot of stuff with. It took him a while to be able to keep them on since they were pretty large......

Jon didn't have much of an issue keeping them on since he has a pretty big noggin'. The boys definately get their big heads from thier dad.......

And then there is my dad who was probably the biggest goofball out of them all and initiated the sunglasses pictures. All in all we had a great day at the park and then we all went out to dinner afterwards to the Branson Landing.

Then my dad had to leave. So we went with our friends to see this show.....which ended up being ridiculous and we left during intermission. We ended up spending the night with them so that the boys could play together. They had a lot of fun. The next morning we had breakfast and just hung out for a little while longer. Then Jon and I and the kids went shopping at the outlet malls where we got some fabulous deals. Below is the dress that I got at Van Heusen for Women. I've been wearing the same church clothes since high school and it was about time to get some more. I got another dress and a beautiful skirt. I was very pleased with the outcome of shopping. Then we were able to get some smashing deals at children's place for the boys and get a lot of their summer clothes for next year.

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ROMAN

Roman had his 3rd birthday party yesterday, and it was a blast! That cake that you see in the picture, a friend of ours made. She makes cakes as hobby. It isn't even her job. We thank her a million times over for doing Roman's and Jaxon's birthday cakes. It was a busy day that day. I had to sing at church and then we had his party and so on.....

When we started to sing to Roman, out of nowhere he just started to cry. I guess we all sang so terribly that he started to cry. It was probably one of the more funnier events of the evening. I guess we should all invest in some private voice lessons so we don't scare anymore children. Once he got to blow at the candle and add some spit to the cake though, he was happy again.

We all had quite a bit of fun at the party.....you can see Jon is thrilled about wearing his birthday hat. Jon and I haven't taken any pictures in practically the last year together since Jaxon has been born. So it is my goal to make sure that we get that done.

Jaxon was the total opposite of his dad, he normally hates anything to be on his head, but he left it on their the whole day. He really had fun at the party, but by the end of the night, he was pooped. He slept from 6:30 until 5 the next morning, had some milk and slept until 7. It was nice for me. I was able to just spend some time with Roman because Jon went to bed early as well. Roman and I never get to just have some time together me and him. So we played with all of his new toys, ate some fish sticks and just had fun. I was glad I was able to just spend time with him. It's hard when you have two not to constantly be with both of them.

This was the first picture that my mom and I have taken together in years. Man, she is one hott mama! I am extremely glad to have her as a mom. She is fabulous. Man we sure do look alike....at least I think so. Look at her...isn't she beautiful??

I started the Pinata tradition this year with roman. I used to have a pinata every year for my birthday...and now we are starting that with him. He had fun wacking it with the bat. But no one could break it since there wasn't a real bat. We had to just tear it open and dump the candy out. I've never seen kids who didn't just run to the candy. But all the kids just kind of sat there and each took like 2 pieces of candy. We had to practically make them take the candy.Roman was very happy with all of presents and he got quite a bit of stuff. He came home with lots of new presents....and of course I get to play with all of them as well....yea for me. I love toys. One good thing about being a stay at home mom is that you get to have an excuse to act like a kid again. Happy Birthday Roman.
