HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ROMAN
Roman had his 3rd birthday party yesterday, and it was a blast! That cake that you see in the picture, a friend of ours made. She makes cakes as hobby. It isn't even her job. We thank her a million times over for doing Roman's and Jaxon's birthday cakes. It was a busy day that day. I had to sing at church and then we had his party and so on.....
When we started to sing to Roman, out of nowhere he just started to cry. I guess we all sang so terribly that he started to cry. It was probably one of the more funnier events of the evening. I guess we should all invest in some private voice lessons so we don't scare anymore children. Once he got to blow at the candle and add some spit to the cake though, he was happy again.
We all had quite a bit of fun at the party.....you can see Jon is thrilled about wearing his birthday hat. Jon and I haven't taken any pictures in practically the last year together since Jaxon has been born. So it is my goal to make sure that we get that done.
Jaxon was the total opposite of his dad, he normally hates anything to be on his head, but he left it on their the whole day. He really had fun at the party, but by the end of the night, he was pooped. He slept from 6:30 until 5 the next morning, had some milk and slept until 7. It was nice for me. I was able to just spend some time with Roman because Jon went to bed early as well. Roman and I never get to just have some time together me and him. So we played with all of his new toys, ate some fish sticks and just had fun. I was glad I was able to just spend time with him. It's hard when you have two not to constantly be with both of them.
This was the first picture that my mom and I have taken together in years. Man, she is one hott mama! I am extremely glad to have her as a mom. She is fabulous. Man we sure do look alike....at least I think so. Look at her...isn't she beautiful??
I started the Pinata tradition this year with roman. I used to have a pinata every year for my birthday...and now we are starting that with him. He had fun wacking it with the bat. But no one could break it since there wasn't a real bat. We had to just tear it open and dump the candy out. I've never seen kids who didn't just run to the candy. But all the kids just kind of sat there and each took like 2 pieces of candy. We had to practically make them take the candy.
Roman was very happy with all of presents and he got quite a bit of stuff. He came home with lots of new presents....and of course I get to play with all of them as well....yea for me. I love toys. One good thing about being a stay at home mom is that you get to have an excuse to act like a kid again. Happy Birthday Roman.
